Simone CavallaroDirector of Operations and Outreach
Simone Cavallaro is the Director of Operations and Outreach at the Querrey Simpson Institute for Bioelectronics (QSIB)at Northwestern University, where he oversees key operational functions and drives strategic outreach initiatives.
Before joining QSIB, Simone was the Director of Academic Affairs and Business Development at the Family Institute at Northwestern University, where he played a pivotal role in managing operations, spearheading strategic initiatives, and launching the online MS in Marriage and Family Therapy program.
Simone also served as the Director of the Stigler Center for the Study of the Economy and the State at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. There, he led the creation of many initiatives, including launching the Journalists in Residence Program and the highly regarded Capitalisn’t podcast.
His career at Northwestern began at the Kellogg School of Management, where he contributed to the success of the school’s behavioral research as Manager of Business Research.
A native of Italy, Simone holds an MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Padua, Italy.
